Features and Functionality
Records and Entries
A Record is the foundation of MYNDIFY. Think of it as a file that holds all of the information in your brain about a specific topic. There are three types of records: People, Location (places), and Event records
Entries are thoughts you wish to remember. Each entry is filed inside a Record. Entries are organized in categories to help you stay organized.
You can add multiple Entries to one Record. The more
A Record is the container (big picture).
An Entry is the content inside the Record (what you wish to remember).
A Task is an action item you need to complete, which can stand-alone or also be connected to Record.
Yes! You can add photos, links, and other media to your Records to make them richer and more useful.
Yes, you can search across all your Records by clicking on the magnifying glass on the top right.
Search isn’t just keyword-based. MYNDIFY’s Inky can also help you find what you’re looking for, even if you don’t remember the exact wording.
Yes. You can create and view Records while offline. Any changes you make will automatically sync once you reconnect to the internet. Features that rely on live data, like AI Inky or sharing, will need an internet connection.
Task and Planning
A Task is something you need to get done. In MYNDIFY, Tasks can live in two ways:
- Stand-alone: you create a task not linked to a record
- Connected to a Record: You can create task and connect it to a Record. This provides you with more context for the task. Once connected, the task could be found in the “Planning” entry of that Record.
Planning Entries help you capture lessons from past experiences so you’re better prepared next time. For example, you might log “to-bring” items for a future trip or a “not-to-do” note after an event that didn’t go well.
Not much! Essentially they are the same, except a Task doesn’t need to be connected to a Record while a Planning Entry does.
Reminders
Location-based reminders notify you that you have a Record with helpful information upon reaching a specific information.
For example, upon arriving at a restaurant – a user would get an alert that they’ve been there before, prompting them to visit the Record and recall their notes.
To enjoy location-based reminders:
- users must subscribe for the premium version of the app
- must allow for location tracking + motion tracking on their phones
- input addresses/location information for their records
Planning Entries help you capture lessons from past experiences so you’re better prepared next time. For example, you might log “to-bring” items for a future trip or a “not-to-do” note after an event that didn’t go well.
If reminders aren’t showing up, check your device’s notification settings and ensure location permissions are turned on.
For Apple users: both location permission and motion permission must be active
No problem! Within that Record, click “Edit Record”, then turn off the “Location Services” toggle at the top. That’s it!
Time-based reminders let you set specific dates and times for notifications, so you’ll get a nudge exactly when you need it.
Yes, you can set reminders to repeat daily, weekly, or on custom schedules, perfect for ongoing tasks or habits.

Tags & Organization
Premium users can create custom tags to group Records however they’d like; such as by project, theme, or life area.
Yes. Premium users can update or remove tags at any time to keep your system organized.
Absolutely. Records can have more than one tag, which makes it easy to find and organize information across different categories.
INKY - Memory Assistant
Inky, our AI Chatbot, helps you find information based on your past Records even if you don’t remember the exact details. For example, you can ask, “What was the name of the waterpark I went to last summer?” and INKY will provide the name.
You can also ask Inky general questions about you, and given the information inputter, it will give you the best response. For example, you can ask “Which of my friends is vegan?”. After reviewing your “People” records, Inky will determine which of your friends you’ve noted is vegan.
Yes! You don’t need keywords! Just type what you remember, and INKY will search your history intelligently.
Inky improves as you add more Records. The more context you give the app, the more precise and helpful its answers will be.
MYND Social
MYND Social is a space where you can share your Records with friends, family, or the wider community. You choose what to share and with whom.
You can share directly within the app by selecting the Record, clicking on “Edit Record”, then “Share with” and selecting the audience you’d like to share with.
Yes. You can share via link prompting the person to receive a download link for the app (they must download and register to view the record).
To share externally click on the three dots (…) on the top right of the record, then select “Share Externally”
Definitely. You decide if a Record is private, shared with select people, or open to your MYND Social followers.
In order for folks to see your records, they must “follow” you.

Yes, MYNDIFY™ is completely free to use. You can download and start using it without any cost.

Yes. Everything you save in MYNDIFY is private by default. You control what stays personal and what you choose to share.
No. We do not access your private Records. They belong to you, and only you can decide if they’re shared.
